Bull Fighting.

I wish I saw bull fighting on a short Independence Day weekend getaway to Spain but in reality the family and I left the house and drove 15 minutes south to the county fairgrounds, not quite the same but exciting and spontaneous nonetheless. In Mexico they can kill the bull but not the human (no capital punishment), contrastingly the US is the exact opposite. Thus, this was a bloodless bull fight, although I was scratching my head to find out what happens when the bull gores a matador, is it still bloodless? Fortunately or unfortunately we never found out. Without being about to the kill the bull the goal was altered to successfully and safely pulling a red rose off the shoulders of the bull. The first fight was exhilarating as we tried to gain a grasp on unusual passé entertainment.

Second fight was, even, more exciting as the bull was faster and more sporadic than a alley cat being chased but a pack of hungry stray dogs. The bull even added his own comedic entertainment by stretching his head toward the ground and kicking up dirt with one of his front hoofs, exactly like in cartoons.

Booty for surviving a fight; enough roses for three girlfriends on Valentine's Day.

Bull fighting groupie, possible. How could you resist tight flamboyant pants and jeweled outfit?

Memorabilia to last a lifetime --with autographs, oh, yeah. . . .

A slew of pictures from the fight can be found here.

And just think... you already have a blouse to complete the ensemble!
