Common Ground
Lance "the world's greatest cyclist ever to live on our green earth" Armstrong and I have a few things in common but more things that aren't in common. We both ride Treks. We both live in Texas. We are both superfast speed demons on the bike. Contradictory, he dates more women than you can count on your hands and toes combined whereas I stick to one. He survived cancer, I survived…umm…high school. He won the Tour de France, seven times—in a row, I won category 3 GS Tenzing Crit, once. Difference aside we both prefer unalike shifters.
