Taking advantage of Italians!?

I took advantage of the Italian healthcare system, today. With the help of one of our directors I purchased synergies from the pharmacy (6 for 1.25 Euro) and then was given free allergy injections from the serum I brought with me. Oh yeah, I didn't fill out any paper work the doctor, I assuming that's what she was, wrote down my name and University of Ferrara id number. Free healthcare, chalk that up on the "Reason's Why Alex Loves Italy."

We're a big deal in Ferrara. I bought an overpriced Herald Tribune in Siean this weekend, an undersized international weekend newspaper published by the New York Times. It covers stories all over the global and focuses in on the arts, a popular past time here in Europe. A new exhibit that opened last week in Ferrara made the back page along with a handful of art exhibits across the world. Cool, huh?

Close up

and a little bit of the front and back pages:

Tomorrow I'll have a post about the weekend, I promise.
